Which AI tool is right for our business — ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini or Claude?
It depends on what you already run and what the work is. Copilot fits teams living in Microsoft 365, Gemini fits Google Workspace, and ChatGPT and Claude are strong general assistants for writing, analysis and documents. We are not tied to any vendor: we test the options on your real tasks and recommend the one that fits, and often more than one.
Is it safe to use AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot with our business data?
It can be, on business plans set up properly. Free consumer chatbots may use what you paste in; business versions of ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini and Claude keep your data out of training. Assistants connected to your files follow your existing permissions — so if a folder is shared too widely, the AI will surface it. We tighten permissions and set clear rules before anything is rolled out.
Can an AI receptionist answer our business phone?
Yes. An AI receptionist can answer after hours or when lines are busy, take messages, book appointments and answer common questions, then transfer to a person when a caller needs one. It answers on your business number, through the VoIP system we set up or your existing line where possible.
Will AI replace our staff?
That is not how we set it up. The goal is to take the repetitive work off your team so they spend their time on customers and judgement. Anything with real consequences keeps a person approving it.

An assessment takes a couple of weeks. A first workflow is typically live within a few weeks after that, depending on the systems involved. We measure it before starting the next one.

No. Small businesses often see results fastest, because a few hours saved each week matters more when the team is small and the processes are simple enough to change quickly.
What does an AI consultant do for a small business?
An AI consultant looks at how your business runs, finds the tasks where AI saves real time, such as answering routine emails, drafting quotes, summarizing calls or booking appointments, and recommends the tools that fit. A good one also sets those tools up, checks that your data stays protected and measures whether the work paid off. We are not tied to any vendor, so the recommendation follows your tasks, not a product.
How much does AI consulting cost in BC?
It depends on the size of the business, the systems involved and whether you want advice only or set-up as well. AI consulting is quoted rather than priced from a list. The first consultation is free, then you get a fixed quote in writing before any work starts.
Do we need an AI agency, or can we do it ourselves?
Many small businesses can start on their own, with a business plan from one of the major AI assistants and a few clear tasks. An outside AI agency is worth considering when the work touches customer data, needs several systems to talk to each other, or when nobody on your team has time to test and maintain it. We will tell you if what you need is simple enough to do in-house.
